If you like to swim, kayak, or pontoon this is the event for you.

The Annual Douglas Lake Swimathon is a 2-mile individual or relay swim. If you are a strong swimmer this is an opportunity to challenge yourself. If you are simply looking for a day of fun in the sun, you can create a relay team of four or five people and enjoy a relaxing swim.
The mission of Swimathon is to have fun, honor God, serve others and have a positive impact on our community.
All monies raised will be donated to Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center (www.SafeHarborCAC.com) and the local Food Pantry.
Time
10:00 a.m. – Volunteer Orientation
12:00 p.m. – Participation Registration / Check-in
1:00 p.m. – Mandatory Open Water Swimming and Boating Safety Clinic (All swimmers and boat crews must attend.)
1:30 p.m. – Swimmers and boat crews depart Point Marina boat ramp area towards Day Board 12
2:00 p.m. – Staggered starts begin (First wave will be the fastest swimmers)
5:00 p.m. – All swimmers exit the water, even if not finished
6:00 p.m. – Awards Ceremony
Cost
$35 / swimmer
After July 31 $45 / swimmer
Price includes meal at end of swim and swim cap
Location
The Douglas Lake Swim-a-Thon will be held at the Point Marina.

Safety
There will be an on-site swimmer safety crew.
